How long will it take from order to commissioning?
Standard lead time for a Battery Operated Pallet Truck is 6–8 weeks from confirmed order — fabrication at our Sukhdarshanpur workshop, then 3–5 days on-site for installation and commissioning. We’ll lock the exact date on your quote once we have your final site survey.
Do you handle installation, or just supply?
Both. Every unit we sell is installed by our own engineers — we don’t hand off installation to local contractors. That’s the difference between SEE and the “supply only” trade: the same team that fabricated your lift is the team that lands it on-site.
What warranty do I get?
12 months comprehensive warranty from commissioning date — covers all mechanical and electrical components, including motor, controller, doors and safety gear. Wear items (cables, brake pads, rubber bumpers) follow manufacturer life-cycle. AMC contracts start from month 13 with three tiers (Basic / Standard / Premium).
Is the unit ISO certified?
Yes. Shiv Engineering Works is ISO 9001:2015 certified (Cert. Q2A-2026-0320T116371) and a registered MSME (Udyam HR-13-0020447). Every dispatch leaves our workshop with a test certificate, dimensional report and material test certificates for the structural steel.
Will it work on single-phase power?
Smaller units (home lifts up to ~250 kg, hand-pallet trucks, light goods lifts) run on 230 V single-phase. Anything heavier — passenger elevators, goods lifts above 500 kg, EOT cranes — needs 415 V three-phase, 50 Hz. We’ll confirm the exact load on your quote so your electrician can size the breaker and earthing pit correctly.
Do you ship pan-India or only locally?
Pan-India. We’ve commissioned units in 33 cities across India — from Jammu to Coimbatore, Mumbai to Guwahati. Freight, insurance in transit, and on-site installation are quoted on the same proposal. For distant sites we send a 2–3 engineer team that stays until commissioning is complete.
Can I see one running before I order?
Yes — we maintain a working demo at the Sukhdarshanpur workshop, and we’re happy to share addresses of recent installations in your city so you can see a real unit in service. WhatsApp us your city; we’ll send 2–3 nearby references with the client’s permission.
What about AMC and post-installation service?
Three AMC tiers: Basic (2 visits/yr, oil & alignment), Standard (4 visits/yr, includes wear-part replacement), Premium (quarterly visits, 24-hr response SLA, includes minor electrical repairs). Pricing scales by capacity and city — typical home-lift AMC is ₹8,000–14,000/yr.
Can the unit be customised — cabin finish, capacity, dimensions?
Yes. We engineer to spec rather than pick from a catalogue. Cabin finishes (stainless, MS-powder-coat, mirror, laminate), capacity bands, shaft dimensions, gate styles, controller logic — all configurable. Send your floor plan or building drawing on WhatsApp and we’ll come back with a feasibility note within 24 working hours.
What does the quote include — and what doesn’t it?
Included: Unit fabrication, freight to site, insurance in transit, installation by our team, commissioning & load-test, 12-month warranty, test certificate.
Not included: Civil work (shaft construction, pit waterproofing, machine-room flooring), three-phase power tap to the machine room, lift inspector fees if your state requires one. We’ll flag these clearly in the quote so there are no surprises.
