Common questions before you commit.
How long is the quote valid for?
30 days from issue date, locking in pricing on steel, motor, controller, doors and labour. If steel index moves significantly inside that window we honour the quote anyway — only re-issue after 30 days if commodity prices have shifted.
What payment terms do you offer?
Standard: 40% on order confirmation, 50% before dispatch, 10% on commissioning. For repeat clients or government tenders we’ll work to your standard PO terms. GST extra (we’re GSTIN registered — 06ABZFS5230Q1Z8).
Can I customise capacity, cabin finish, dimensions?
Yes — we engineer to spec rather than pick from a catalogue. Capacity bands, shaft dimensions, gate styles, cabin finishes (stainless, MS-powder-coat, mirror, laminate), controller logic, even custom car operating panels. Just send your floor plan or building drawing on WhatsApp; we’ll come back with a feasibility note within 24 working hours.
What’s covered under warranty?
12 months comprehensive from commissioning date — all mechanical and electrical components, including motor, controller, doors and safety gear. Wear items (cables, brake pads, rubber bumpers) follow manufacturer life-cycle. We respond to warranty calls within 24 hours pan-India.
Do I need civil work done before you arrive?
The shaft, machine room (or MRL pocket), pit, headroom and three-phase power tap need to be ready — we issue civil drawings as part of the quote so your contractor can build to spec. We schedule the site survey first, so by the time install day comes, your civil is the right size on day one. We don’t do civil work ourselves; we’ll happily review your contractor’s drawings before they pour.
Will you handle state lift-inspector compliance?
States vary. In Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh we file inspector paperwork on your behalf as part of commissioning. In Maharashtra / Karnataka / Gujarat / Tamil Nadu we provide all certifications and forms but you (or your liaison) submit them — we’ll guide you through it. Inspector fees themselves are payable to the state directly.
