Indian elevator pricing has a wide range because the spec varies a lot — capacity, finish, climate, location. These ballpark numbers are starting points; final price comes from a quote against your specific site.
01 What does a home elevator actually cost in India?
A standard 3-stop MRL home elevator with stock cabin finish runs ₹5.5-8 lakhs all-inclusive across most of India in 2026. Tricity (Panchkula/Chandigarh/Mohali) runs slightly lower (~₹5.5-7 lakhs) because logistics from our Sukhdarshanpur workshop are minimal. Mumbai and coastal cities run slightly higher (~₹6.5-9 lakhs) for the marine-grade cabin default. Custom cabin work (marble, jaali, chikankari, wood-panel wine-estate) moves the upper range to ₹11-14 lakhs.
02 What about a passenger elevator for an apartment block?
A standard 8-person passenger lift covering 6-10 stops typically runs ₹12-18 lakhs all-inclusive depending on finish, speed, and city. Add 15-25% for premium finish or 1.5+ m/s speed. AMC runs an additional ₹35,000-65,000/year per lift depending on tier (Essential/Comprehensive/Premium 24×7).
03 What does a goods lift cost?
A standard 1,000 kg single-mast hydraulic goods lift (3-stop, 12-foot travel) runs ₹3.8-5.5 lakhs all-inclusive across India in 2026. A 2-ton double-mast variant runs ₹6.5-9 lakhs. A 5-ton heavy-payload (Hosur/Pithampur OEM grade) runs ₹14-22 lakhs depending on cabin geometry and structural spec. Industrial cargo with chemical-resistant or food-grade cabin coatings adds 8-15% for the coating + sample-exposure process.
04 Why is your Mumbai quote higher than your Pune quote?
Two reasons. Marine-grade cabin spec is default for Mumbai (SS304 framing, sealed power-pack, marine-grade door operator — adds about ₹40,000-90,000 to the cabin material cost depending on capacity). And Mumbai logistics + onsite-access costs are higher than Pune. Pune's mild climate means no temperature/humidity overspec needed, so we pass the saving through transparently. We don't pocket the Pune saving; you see it as a line item.
05 What's the payment milestone structure?
50% advance with order confirmation against pro-forma invoice. 40% on dispatch from our workshop against tax invoice. 10% on commissioning and handover. AMC invoices are payable annually or quarterly in advance per the AMC schedule. Service-call invoices outside an AMC are payable within 15 days of invoice date.
06 Do you offer financing or instalment payment plans?
Not directly. We accept payment from bank-EMI cards if your bank offers it (typical home-elevator amounts qualify under personal-loan EMI programs from most major banks). For larger industrial orders, a lease-finance route via your equipment-finance partner is sometimes used; we're happy to provide the documentation they need.
